It was a German philosopher who penned the immortal line, “That which does not kill us makes us stronger.” There is a lot to be said for that maxim, especially when you’ve had (or are anticipating) a horrible day. But today is Saturday. Why should that be anything less than wonderful?
So today, we are going to enjoy being ourselves. We’ve talked before about the importance of being yourself and playing to your strengths. However, if what makes you unique has a tendency to drive your nearest and dearest up the wall, it can be difficult to celebrate this
But you were made just the way you were meant to be and I will not hear anyone tell you otherwise.
You don’t need to give yourself a party or make a big fuss to appreciate your special qualities (but if someone offers you a party, be sure you don’t say ‘no’
) This can be an internal appreciation of what makes you tick. But take some time today to think about who you are and what makes you special. And don’t forget to come back and tell us all about it
Over to you. What do you think?
