Today’s one minute motivator is in response to Ben Lumley’s post over at 6 Aliens. After reading it and agreeing with him, you’ll see I promised him faithfully that I’d be setting the alarm for 5am. However, as I type this, it’s a little after 2am. I will not be setting the alarm for 5am. My body will kill me if I do!
However, if you take the time to read Ben’s post, he makes some wonderful suggestions. Unless you’re somehow reading this in your sleep, it’s probably too late to implement this motivator today. However, I would encourage you to set your alarm a few minutes earlier tomorrow. If you can set it so you’re up before the rest of your household, even better
Use the time however you see fit but enjoy the solitude and be sure to come back later and tell us how you went. If you need some more practical suggestion of how this might work for you, you know what to do … read Ben’s post

ha ha ”your body will kill you!” Love it.
For me I work, like you, till way after midnight and depending on my shift I will get up with my little ‘un. It’s a crazy world but sometimes it has to be done. I wish more people did set the clock just 15 mins earlier, they would get so much more done.
Hope you and Dr Egg and the rest of the team are well

Hi James,
Thanks for stopping by. As you could tell, I wrote this one from the heart
All good here. Dr Egg invested in the Thesis theme today which I’m still in the middle of tinkering with. As I intimated over in your place, I’m keen to use it to develop some bits and pieces with local business. Dr Egg is asking for a share certificate so he can donate all his profits to Give A Brick! Doesn’t miss a trick does he?

I have done that at different times in my life. What really makes it work is when there is something that you are excited about that makes you do it. Without that, I end up rolling over and getting the extra minutes of sleep.

You’re quite right Ralph. That’s probably why I was able to stay up late last night. I was a woman on a mission! I’m really looking forward to an early night tonight now though so I can get up early tomorrow.
Rolling over and going back to sleep is really easy to do

I keep setting my alarm 15 mins early so I can just get up on time. I need to go to bed earlier.
