If you’re not well practiced at being still, today’s motivator is going to feel a bit strange. We’re going to take time to look out of our window at the drama unfolding before our eyes. Very specifically, have a look at the clouds dancing across the sky. What colour are they? At what speed are they moving? What shapes can you see?
The sky is beautiful, I love the variety on offer.Even a grey stormy sky can illicit feelings that might otherwise have remained tucked in.
It’s Sunday today and whilst you may not be heading off to church in the way that was traditional a generation or two ago, spend a few moments reflecting on the drama of the sky. That sky and the shapes you see are not a chance, random event. That sky was painted especially for you this morning to make you smile.
As you’re smiling and reflecting on the size of you in relation to that massive sky, remember Jesus loves you and he got his paint pot out just so that you and I can have this conversation. Enjoy your day and I look forward to hearing what you saw.
Over to you. What kindness did you show to someone else today?

Hi Eleanor!
I love coming here, hun. Your words always seem to make me smile and feel good about myself. Thank you for that! What did I see when I looked at the sky? Not much, I’m afraid… was the middle of the night, overcast and raining.
Take care,
Steve.

Hi Steve
) Here’s hoping that by now you’re looking at something a little lighter and more pleasing to the eye.
Thanks for stopping by (and for being so lovely and encouraging. You’re welcome any time
Dark and night time here now but look forward to catching up with you tomorrow,
Eleanor
You gave me a memory of a particular type of day when I was youn(er) on the School playing fields, in summer laying on my back just cloud watching. Imagining flying between those big white cumulus. You can see why I was the brother who didn’t do quite so well at school!

Hi Roy
But I agree, summer in school was always better when it could be spent relaxing under a tree. I personally loved PE lessons in the Summer term for that very reason
I don’t know what to say to that other than to giggle and want to tweet Dr Egg
