Ah! I love that line from Ferris Buelar. I totally forgot about it but always thought it was a wicked cool quote. Anyway, I know whatchu mean about kids. I get jealous of my little nephew and how amazing every little thing in life is for him. I wish I could still be so easily amused and fascinated with life again.. *sigh*

I agree. For me, one of the greatest side effects of having children was learning to slow down and appreciate the simple stuff again. The look of wonder on a child’s face as he investigates a flower or a rain drop is brilliant.

Great post, I have twin four year old grandaughters who are absolutely estatic about the moon every time they see it. Such innocence!
