Before you think I’ve gone completely insane, yes, I do realise it’s Friday. I’m not advocating pulling a sickie or telling your boss that your hamster has died (although if you can take a day off work by ethical means, that’s always fun
) Today I am recommending you take the day off from the stuff that goes on in your head. We all do it, thinking about different possibilities and options, wondering if that thing we dread is going to happen, will actually happen and, what will we do if it does!
Stop It!
Give yourself a break from the self-examination. Stop planning for each eventuality. Celebrate today all the little things in your day that make you smile. Find someone to share a laugh with. Purpose today to be happy. Find a really silly knock knock joke and giggle about it with a stranger on the bus.
Speaking of silly knock jokes, I’ve just read this one from @Linda Thieman:
“Knock, knock” “Who’s there?” “The impatient cow” “The impa …” “Moo!”
Thanks Linda
Over to you. Have you got a better one?
