Aside from the fact that he’s the lovely chap who married my sister (yes, she talks more than me but thankfully he’s deaf in one ear ) our Friday Friend, Craig Woodhams, is also a very talented animation artist. His time lapse photography isn’t half bad either

In honour of the fact that Craig works in a visual medium, you’ll have no more words from me today. Instead, enjoy Craig’s latest creations below. The first is his most recent baby. It took hours and hours and I can’t wait to see how it develops over time. This is a super quick post to share our Cocktail Party video with you. More feedback on the evening to follow.

I was thinking about stuff this morning, Give A Brick stuff, personal stuff, stuff about a whole load of other things that I can’t even put words to and then the idea for this short(ish!) video popped in my head. I’d love to hear what you think.

It’s been an amazing fortnight here at Give A Brick. An update on just how wonderful will be coming up tomorrow but today we have our first ever community video post. It’s by the lovely Ben Lumley from 6aliens.com and if you’ve not already done so, you should check out his blog or go and say hello to him on Twitter. It would be fair to say that it was Ben who encouraged me to publish the wish list (which if you’ve not seen yet, you really should after this post. There’s still loads to do!) and no, it doesn’t just apply to charitable organisations. As I said to my friend Liz (“Hi Liz!”) anyone and every one can ask for what they need.

I wanted to remind you that I would still love to have your video clip for the promotional video but I didn’t want to be all long winded and boring about it so I made you this short, funny video instead:

In case I really was speaking too fast for you, here’s in essence what I said: “Thank you, thank you, thank you for all your support, encouragement and offers of help. They are wonderful.” and “Please can you record a short 5-10 second clip of you telling people why they should Give A Brick?”

Browsing the latest news on Facebook yesterday, I happened upon this beautiful video posted by Bert Padila. By YouTube standards it’s fairly long but believe me, it really is awesome. As I commented to Bert, it made me cry but tears don’t have to be a bad thing
