Gift Aid
Gift Aid works by us taking your donation
(which is money
you have already paid tax on) and reclaiming tax on
its
'gross' equivalent (its value before tax was deducted) at the
basic
rate of 22 per cent. This means that every brick
you give via Gift Aid is
worth £1.28. This is because 22
per cent of £1.28 is 28 pence - your £1 being
the difference.
You can use Gift Aid if the amount of tax you have paid
in a
tax year is at least equal to the amount we reclaim.
If you do
not pay tax, you should not use Gift Aid.
To make your donation using
Gift Aid, please download
our Gift Aid Form and send it to us
with your donation.
There is space on the form for several people to give
via
Gift Aid. Why not tell your friends about us and ask them
to
Give A Brick with Gift Aid too?
If you Give A Brick online, please
follow the instructions to
include Gift Aid.
