Every Friday on Twitter, folks send recommendations of great people to follow. They add the hashtag #followfriday to track their tweets. It's a great idea in principle but I tend to avoid sending any recommendations. The reason being, it seems to have developed into a bit of a free for all. People recommend people hoping that they'll recommend them back etc. All very messy. However, Ryan gave us a mention via his 'sunshine awards' a couple of days ago. You'll have to go over to his place (www.writersaddict.net) if you want to read how he got involved. So I decided to spread some love and support for those blogs I enjoy and/or learn from. Given that I was posting it on Friday, I decided to link it with Twitter and include the #ff hashtag. The only exception to this was Ralph who, to the best of my knowledge, isn't on Twitter.
