This week we have an interview with an offline Give A Brick friend (well, that’s not strictly true. Sadie is very much online but she’s my friend offline too 
) and supporter, Sadie from EBay’s “Petal Est 2007” Sadie and I have known each other since our eldest children started in the Meithrin (school nursery) at the age of two and a half. They’re in their seventh year now so it’s been a while That said, I still had some surprises in today’s interview. So Sadie, over to you:
What’s your name and where do you come from? My name is Sadie and I’m from Llanelli, originally from a village called Tonyrefail…(“where’s that?” I hear you cry!) it’s near Pontypridd. (Google it if you’re still not sure )
Why Give A Brick? It’s good to support a local charity and to be able to see exactly where your money goes. Also, my daughter visited the church where the money is badly needed for the first project and I was told (by my 6-year old) – “mammy the toilets are disgusting!!!” so if they’re bad to a six-year old???!!!! Also Eleanor is a good friend who works very hard to raise awareness for this charity and so I thought I’d try to help if I can.
If you could be granted any one wish right now, what would it be? To win the lottery, predictable I know!!
Who would be your ideal dinner guest? That’s really hard……this answer would probably change depending what kind of mood I’m in, but at the moment probably Billy Connolly, as I’ve been watching the programme where he’s touring around New Zealand. What an amazing country and such an entertaining guy!
What would be on the menu? Tapas, so we could chat without getting interrupted by all the eating!
One thing that might surprise people about you? I’m a terrible gossip, although my close friends will probably know this already! If you don’t want anyone to know then please don’t tell me! However much I say “I won’t tell”….I most certainly will!!!

Sadie’s daughter is absolutely right about the toilet (there’s only one so we can’t even claim an s on the end). One day, one day! I could say that it will be a relief for everyone but perhaps that’s too much detail!
