Friday Friends @WebsiteWeekend & @DanielleLaPorte #FF

They say that pride comes before a fall. I was very proud of my wonderful time management skills prior to our family trip to France. I had three weeks worth of blog posts scheduled to publish in my absense, tweets and all. I really should have known better!

I’ve been playing catch up ever since and today you are witnessing me fall

In the grand scheme of things it won’t be the greatest fall of all time (I wish!) but all the same, I messed up.

If you’ve come today to see discover who this week’s Friday Friend is and read their interview, you’re going to be disappointed. It’s been a fabulous week (more on that in moment) but in all the excitement I forgot to chase up the interview for a friend.

So this week’s Friday Friend is a little different. No interview, just an explanation of how they (yes, there’s two) made me dance (very silently) around my dining room at 1:15am and 1:30am respectively on Wednesday morning.

At around 1am I was engaged in a fascinating conversation with Dave “@WebsiteWeekend” Doolin. We started talking about his place and it resulted in an amazing realization about how best to use the virtual real estate here at Give A Brick.

At this stage there are still a lot of wrinkles to be ironed out so I can’t say a lot more but I would ask a favour of you. If you (or someone you know) is an expert type person in any of the areas that we support (children, young people, elderly people and poverty) we need to talk. It’s going to be fabulous
