Saturday Smoothy: Lessons for children, learning to love life and the day I learned to really appreciate my friends

by El

Welcome to our first ever Saturday Smoothy, an opportunity to reflect on the week and remember some of the highlights you may have missed. As is often the case when you learn a valuable lesson, it’s been a memorable week. If nothing else, I’ve learned this week just how much support and encouragement there is out there for Give A Brick. I guess if you had to sum this week up in one word you’d choose the word ‘people’ and this is reflected both in lessons learned and this week’s posts.

The format of this weekly post will evolve over time but for today at least, here’s what you’ve missed if this is your first visit to Give A Brick this week:

Wow, are you ever prolific. There are some real gems that I missed so I appreciate your new Saturday Smoothy round-up. In fact, I think your alliteration post themes are a fantastic idea. Very creative!

Thanks Karen :)
I’m hoping the themes should help with planning things a little better. Up until now I’ve decided what to write about as the whim takes me but that’s not so condusive to good organisation ;)
