Taking the day off

It’s Saturday morning, we’re all still in our pajamas and in the last four hours, we’ve made pancakes for breakfast, learned how to knit, played dressing up and built an awesome train track :)

Usually by now I’d be half way through dreaming up the latest post, even if it wasn’t in written form.

However, as I write this via my phone, my eldest is demanding I continue knitting the scarf we’re creating for her toy dog!

So today, I’m taking the day off and I’d like to encourage you to do the same. Go outside, enjoy some time with your loved ones, read a book.

Go have some fun. The Internet will be here waiting for you when you get back. Go on! You know you want to ;)

Over to you. What do you think?
Please add a comment and retweet.
It’s just another one of the ways you can Give A Brick and then tell your friends

Give A Brick works to support children, young people, the elderly and those experiencing financial hardship. If you enjoyed this post, please Give A Brick (just £1 ;) ) then ask your friends to do the same.

Obviously I’m on here because I’m posting this comment but I have to agree. We should all take a day off and just relax and enjoy! I plan on watching movies today! :)

    I love movies.

I’m talking about something similar to this in my next blog post on Goals4Individuals.com… Not up yet but will be in a few days. Obviously not the weekend of course! lol

Have a great day Eleanor. :)

Ooo Have Fun! I agree with you and Eric, we should take more time for ourselves.

That said… to that end I’ll be working for most of the day today (planning) so that I can stop stressing out during the week lol. Tomorrow is my day off usually though, can’t wait :)

Saturday is my day in the garden and had a really productive time building our woodshed – that’s a wood store rather than a wooden shed. It is made of wood as well though!

Ah I was looking forward to some advice, jk ;)

You enjoy your day off with your family. I actually got sort of one today, just had to install a new washer/dryer on the boat which took a couple of hours. Not that bad, other than I have been working on my blog related material.

The weekend usually coincides with a lull in traffic. So it’s normally just getting prepared with blog posts.

However this weekend was most exciting, we picked up a moses basket for our soon to be born baby boy.

Wow! Not long now then Matthew ;) Is the big day in March some time?

And a totally unrelated question, why does this site no longer show your photo? Is your email address registered with gravatar?

Wow! Magic moments, Matthew. All these little things add up – just like Ben says at: http://www.6aliens.com/2010/02/its-the-little-things-that-make-a-big-difference-how-do-you-flap-your-butterfly-wings/
