An interesting thing happened to me on the way to the forum! I was accosted by my alter-ego, the talking head that is destined to become the very animated Dr Egg.
“What is this man talking about?” I hear you mutter. Well in my dinning room for the past few days, a news desk has been coming to fruition in the form of a stage set for the animated talking head that Craig Woodhams is creating for Give a Brick. Together with that he has created the body and hands to do a load of waving around during the news reports he hopes the head will be bringing to the web site.
Some time ago, Craig shared the work he’d been doing on the head on Facebook. But with all the recent work, he has just produced the following YouTube announcement:
So what do you think? What words would you like to put in Dr Egg’s mouth?

past few days = Past 2 weeks
just thought I’d correct that lol
But yeah, Ideas or scripts are very welcome for little videos, however, A word of warning, each word will take me the best part of 20 minutes to animate, so try to keep every word as important as the last

also, for the first few vids, the arms will not move, as i’m learning to get the talking part down to a T before I attempt to “real time” animate to whole body and mouth at same time

I know the feeling, Craig. Getting my arms and mouth moving at the same time can be a problem and I usually end up spilling the wine down the front of my shirt!
Apologies at suggesting it was just a few days. I’ve been watching in awe and time passes quickly with a spectator sport. A bit like watching the record breaking match at Wimbledon between Isner and Mahut (http://www.wimbledon.org/en_GB/news/blogs/2010-07-05/201007061278411477775.html ). Easy for the spectator!

Nice video! I look forward to seeing the final output Dr Egg and what you do with your alter ego!

This is totally a cool project for a good cause. Maybe you should put the charity organization in there too so people can see who or what they are helping! Great video and good luck..
