My memory of London 15 years ago is fluffy at best. I was only 15 or 16! I remember getting lost and walking up Carnaby Street thinking it was the epitome of coolness ;) That doesn’t sound like fun! LA county is about 10 million. Your post reminds me of our last trip to New York City, after about 15 years. We loved it. It was clean and friendly and wonderful totally unlike the last time when it was dirty, unfriendly and we couldn't wait to get out. Pennsylvania Station, our point of entry was flowing with urine and bums and it never got better. Taxi drivers refused to take us because we weren't going to the airport.
